It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Pelley announce his sudden passing at his private residence on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019 at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Rhonda, Jennifer (Matthew), Rachel, Jason (Tanya), and Andrew; his grandchildren: Kellen, Abby, Molly, Alex (Nicole), Zach (Brianna), Nicholas, Addison, Christian, Kennedy, Noah, Brittany, and Haily; his great grandchildren: Ashton and Ally; his brothers: Art, Lorne (Ruth), and Wilfred (Melita); his sisters: Dallas (Joe) and Mildred; his brothers and sisters in law: Doreen, Dorthy, Hilda (Derek) Drover, Max (Joy) Barrett, Bill (Barb) Barrett; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was predeceased by his wife Robin (Roberta) Pelley (2010); his parents: Stephen and Evelyn Pelley; his brothers: Aubrey (Mary), and Gord; his sister Florence (Art); his brothers in law: Ben, and Leslie Pike; and his sisters in law: Linda Barrett and Effie Pelley. At John's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the SonRise Ministries, 29 Wellington Street on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at 2 pm with Pastor Jonathan Rogers officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations can be made to the SonRise Ministries Soup Kitchen.
