It is with deep sadness that the family of Wycliffe Laurier Dawe announces his unexpected passing on April 3rd, 2025.

Wycliffe was the beloved husband of Christine Dawe and a devoted father to Michelle (Dylan Hynes), Michael (Clinton Wilkins), Glenn (Treena Dawe), and Sherry (Wayne Nickerson). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Chase and Cole Dawe, and he eagerly awaited the arrival of his newest grandson, Jacob Hynes.

He was predeceased by his parents Laurier and Gwendolyn Dawe, brothers Henry and Tony Parsons, and his granddaughter, Jersey Rae Dawe.

Wycliffe will be forever remembered by his brothers Derek Dawe (Patty) and David Dawe (Janet); and sisters Joan Parry (Gwyn), Sharon Newman (Clarence), Donna Park (Rod), Beverly Walsh (Mark), Judy Brake (Byron), Sandra McCready (Paul), and Debbie Dawe (Gilles).

He is also survived by his mother-in-law Fern Murphy, Aunt Maisie Brake, brother-in-law Sean Murphy (Cindy), and sister-in-law Diane Murphy (Darrin Bowers). Along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was thankful for the friendship of Glenn and Karen Allen, and his time spent with the family pets Moka, Oliver, Penny and MJ.

There will be a visitation taking place for family and friends on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 from the hours of 1-3 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 3 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the NL West SPCA.
