Its with great sadness that the family of the late Winston David Parsons announce his passing at Western Long Term Care (Palliative) on January 4th, 2024 at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 59 years Anne (Nee Burton). Children; Loretta Pittman (Dwane), Keith (Andrea), Valerie Tortorelli (Giuseppe), Rodney (Marita). Seven Grand-children; Ashley Ryan (Darren), Meghan Vanelst (Tyler), Mitchell Jordan (Jessica), Adam, Sydney (Aiden) and Adrianna. Two great-great grandchildren Chloe and Owen. Sister Rebecca Fancey (Stan) and a special lifelong friend Clayton Button. Winston was predeceased by Madeline, Josie, Tom, Caleb and Shirley. Lovingly remembered by in-laws Martin and Eileen Burton, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Winston was born in Indian Bay where he met Annie. They married in 1964 and later moved to Corner Brook in 1969 where they raised their four children. During his 30-year trucking career he meet many people who were still in his life. He was a people person and seemed to know someone everywhere he went.

Cremation has taken place. A visitation will take place on Monday, January 8th, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm from where a funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mickton officiating. Donations can be made to Saint Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church or Open-Door Ministry Corner Brook.
