It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Winston (Wince) House announce his passing at the health sciences Centre in St. John's on July 25th, 2021 at the age of 79. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his beloved daughters, Valda House (Roger), Lisa Hann (Warren) & Mandy Simmonds (Mark), six cherished grandchildren Mark Hann (April), Loretta Hann (Damon), Allison Jones (Clarence), Justin House (Brandie), Jacob & Hannah Simmonds, Eleven precious great-grandchildren, Deidra, Dorman, Keira, CJ, Landon, Elum, Zoey, Lukas, Liam, Darius and Owen, three sisters, Olive McGinn, Connie Payne and Hepsey Patey (Alonzo). He also leaves behind a very large circle of family and friends. Wince was predeceased by his first wife Loretta, second wife Shelley, parents Grant and Sarah, brothers Doug, Garland, Raymond and Clayton, sisters Ella, Phoebe and Effie and his great-grandson Max. Cremation has taken place, there will be a visitation held on Friday, July 30th, 2021 at 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm and Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 1:00 pm, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ed King officiating. An interment service will take place at a later date. There are no flowers by request. Donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House. The family would like to express thanks to dad's home care workers, staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in particular, the dialysis unit, and the staff of the CCU at Health Sciences Center in St. John's, who cared for dad/pop in his final days.
