It is with great sadness that the family of the late Winnie Gloria Pardy announce her passing on December 7 ^th , 2022 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in her 70 ^th year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Tammy MacDonald (Lawrence), Pauline Pardy (Jerry), and Brad Pardy (Ellie); grandchildren: Tara Compagnon (Christopher), and Alexandra MacDonald (Brandon Day); her great-grandchildren who always knew her as, Nanny Pooh: Letty, Nora, and Jensen; sisters: Hersey (Peter), Eva, Myrtle (Steve), Glenda (Ed), Fronie (Ken), and Triffie (Tony); brothers: Malcom (Ethel), Truman, and Tony (Wanda); brothers and sisters-in-law: Winston (Melba), Becky, Audrey, Fred, and Cecil; and the extended MacDonald family; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Winnie is predeceased by her husband: Randolph Pardy; parents: Alex and Nora Nippard; precious grandbaby: Peyton; sisters: Ina, and Dorothy; brothers: Calvin, Arthur, and Morley; and her brother and sisters-in-law: Dorman, Gordon, Stella, June (Chesley), Gilbert (Florence), James (Violet), and Edward (Lorraine).

At Winnie's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. To be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Winnie's memory to the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit.

The family wishes to send a sincere thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff of the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and tremendous care during Winnie's time of need. It will never be forgotten.
