It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Derek Park announce his passing on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at Corner Brook Long Term Care home at the age of 78 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Bernice. Sons; Dean (Judy) and Kerry (Amanda). Stepson; Shawn Kendell. Grandchildren; Candice (Roddy), Natasha (Jeremy), Melissa (Michael), Gregory (Hayley), Alecia (Trever) and Kloie as well as 8 Great-Grandchildren. Brothers; Wayne (Eileen) and Rodney (Elaine – Deceased) and Eric Park. Brother and sisters-in-law; Larry (Cora - Deceased), Madonna Sheppard (Roy – Deceased), Wanda Layden (Fred), Joy Atfield (Leonard – Deceased), Debbie Sweet (Brent), Wade Kendell (Kit), Clarence Kendell (Wendy), Sherry Crocker (Randy) and Willis Hickey. Special friends Harold and Linda Parsons.

William was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Eileen Park. Sisters; Alice Macdonald (Bill) and Joan Hickey. Brother; Ronald Park. and mother and father-in-law; Geroge and Mary Kendell.

Per Williams request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation on Friday, April 11th 2025 from the hours of 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at Country Haven Funeral Home from where a funeral will take place on Friday, April 11th 2025 at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 pm with Rev. Mickton officiating with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. There are no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada.
