It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Michael Power, aged 70 years, at the Western Long-Term Palliative Care, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. William passed peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting legacy. William will be lovingly remembered by his children: Joshlyn (Marvin), and Micheal (Terri Crystal); and his treasured grandchildren: Abbagale, Alex, Landen, Lilly, and Lacey, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. He will also be dearly missed by his sisters: Betty, Theresa (Chris), Catherine (Paul), and Roxanna (Flemming); his brothers Gerald, Raymond (Rose), Fred (Debbie), and John (Karen); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.

William was predeceased by his parents: Gerald and Margaret Power; his sister: Joshlyn; and his brother-in-law: Chain, who have now welcomed him home with open arms.

William's life was filled with the warmth of family, the strength of friendships, and the comfort of laughter. Those who knew him will remember his kindness, gentle spirit, and the way he always made those around him feel valued and cared for. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit for their exceptional care and compassion during William's final days.

There will be a visitation taking place on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in the Country Haven Chapel with Father Edward Terry officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in William's memory to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit).
