It is with great sadness that the family of the late William David Allen announce his passing on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 at his private residence, in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 71 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his spouse: Sylvia; step-son: Paul; sisters: Marlene (Bert), Glenys (Fred), Linda, Elizabeth (Jim), and Gloria; brothers: Derek (Deloris), Wallace (Beverly), Baxter (Gaye), and Byron (Roxanne); sisters-in-law: Marion (Wally), Annie, Bessie (Gord), Beatrice (Gerald), Gloria (John), Sharon (Randy), Helen (Ian), and Sandra (Elmo); and his brothers-in-law: Melvin (Faye), Ray (Bev), and Allan (Wanda); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Bill is predeceased by his parents: Jack and Marion Allen; brother: Douglas (Dianne); and baby sister Gloria and brother-in-law; Arch Park.

There will be a private visitation for family held on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from 2-3 PM, from where cremation will take place. There will be another visitation taking place at 1 PM on Friday, August 9th, 2024 in the Country Haven Chapel, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Bill's memory to your local S.P.C.A.
