It is with great sadness that the family of Willette (Burton) Myles announce her passing at Corner Brook Long Term Care on December 10th, 2021.

She leaves to mourn her loving husband of 64 years, Stephen; son David (Sandy); daughters Glenda Butt (Robert) and Judy Myles-Murphy (Michael); Nanny Willette's dear grandchildren; Megan Coles (Ryan), Bradley Myles (Clinton Fudge), Sarah-Jane Murphy, and James Murphy; and great-grandchildren Nathan and Dylan Coles; sisters Yvonne Payne (Luke) and Gloria Hunt (Andrew); her special sister-in-laws Mavis Burton; brothers-in-law Roy Myles (Ruby) and Bob Myles (Mona) and her many nieces and nephews.

A quiet, modest lady, Willette was a dear wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt. She loved to bake and sew for all of her family.

Willette was predeceased by her parents George and Jane Burton, her brothers Harold Attwood, Walter Burton Gerald Burton, Wilson Burton, Merrill Burton, and sister Bernice Burkholder as well as her father and mother-in-law, Edwin and Sarah Myles.

The family appreciates the kindness and compassion from the wonderful staff of Corner Brook Long Term Care: floor 2 North, and No. 4 Bungalow. We will never forget your smiling faces.

A visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Sunday, December 12 from the hours of 2-4 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 13 at 2 PM at Oakland United Church on Forestside Street with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment will take place at Mount Patricia Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of one's choice.
