It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilhemena Power announce her passing at her private residence on Monday, January 27th, 2025 at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Bob Hustins, and Tammy Power; grandchildren: Dylan, Hailey, Sarah, Emily, Davin, Darryl, Lee, and Mason; great-grandchildren: Adalida, Lyla, Malachi, Max, and Mya; many siblings; neighbour: Carol; and good friend: Daphne Wheeler; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Wilhemena is predeceased by her husband: Gerald Power; children: Lisa Power, and Tony Power; and many siblings.

She enjoyed spending time and chatting with her friends and family when they would visit, and especially enjoyed having a good game of cards or bingo. The family wishes to extend a heart felt thank you to Wilhemena's home support worker, Jackie Power, for being there during her time of need.

There will be a visitation taking place on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 in the Country Haven Chapel with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to take place in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Wilhemina's memory to a charity of one's choice.
