It is with great sadness that the Wheeler family announce the passing of Wayne on Tuesday September 13 ^th 2022 at Western Long Term Care Palliative Unit.

Wayne leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 52 years, Barbara (Webb); Daughter Holly (Travis); Grandchildren Luke and Jessica; Brothers Weldon, Don (Betty), Derek (Sue), Ernie (Marg); Sisters Phyllis (John), Sandra (Dan). As well as a large circle of nieces and nephews that were special to him.

Wayne is predeceased by his parents Frank and Georgina (Ruth) Wheeler; Brothers Jim, Jerry, Melvin, Rudy; Sisters Evelyn and Keaty.

At Wayne's request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service at this time, to be announced at a later date.  The family would like to offer a special thanks to the palliative care team, the cancer team, and Dr. Penney for their great kindness and care.

There are no flowers by request. If anyone would like to honour Wayne, they can do so by donating to a charity of one's choice.
