It is with deepest sorrow that the Preston family announce the passing of Wayne Hunter Preston on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the age of 63 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers and sisters: Max Preston (Judy), Gary Preston (Brenda), Ernie Preston (Kathy) Helen Stone, Gwen Wiseman, Grace Young (Rick) and Terri Preston; nieces and nephews: Paula Johnston, Jerry Stone, Allison Dixon, Lori Hunt, Jennifer Leonard, Gary Preston Jr., Dee Lake, Ashley Preston, Michelle Leonard, Kayla Wiseman Rose, and Candi Morgan; as well as a large circle of other realtives and friends.

Wayne is predeceased by his parents: Maxwell and Ethel Preston; sisters: Linda Bowman and Doreen Hunt; and brother: Paul Preston.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Corner Brook Long Term Care 3 North for taking such good care of Wayne in the last few years. You went above and beyond for him and we truly appreciate it. We also want to thank Country Haven Funeral Home for their professionalism.

There will be a visitation taking place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Monday, August 26, 2024 from the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 pm to 7:00 – 9:00 pm, from where a interment service will take place on Tuesday August 27, 2024 at 11:00 am at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. As expressions of symapthy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Wayne's memory to a charity of one's choice.
