It is with profound sadness that the family of Wayne Park announce his sudden, but peaceful, passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 5th, 2025 at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his beloved wife of 51 years: Eileen; daughters: Angela Park, and Colleen Kennedy (Shane); his children by choice: Michael Hickey (Michelle), and Glenda Hickey; very special great-nephews: Matthew Hickey, and Nathan Hickey; special brother-in-law: Willis Hickey; his favourite furry friend: Joey (Pop's boy); brothers: Rod Park, and Eric Park; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bernice Park, Kevin Hackett (Marina), Clayton Hackett (Roella), Bernard Hackett (Marg), Annie Boudreau (Gary), and Hilda Simmonds; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many friends.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents: Stanley and Eileen Park; sisters: Alice MacDonald, and Joan Hickey; and his brothers: William Park, Ronald Park, Murdock Park, and Ralph Park.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held for friends and family on Monday, June 9th, 2025 at Country Haven Funeral Home beginning at 1 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 3 PM in the Country Haven Chapel. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Wayne's memory to your local S.P.C.A.
