It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of our dear beloved brother, Wayne Edgar Hynes, at the age of 57 years. Wayne passed away at his home, in Corner Brook, NL. Wayne is survived by his sisters: Mary Pynn, Diane Hynes, Susane Ralph (Darrell), Donna Campbell (Leonard), and Julie Slavin (Dennis) of Clarenville, NL; his brothers: Brian Hynes (Lorraine) of Oshawa, ON, Walter Hynes, Paul Hynes (Marion), and David Hynes; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly.

Wayne is predeceased by his parents: William Robert Hynes (2021) and Elsie Lillian Hynes (2010); brothers: Clyde James Hynes (2012), and Robert Bruce Hynes (2013); brother-in-law: Will Pynn (2019); and sister-in-law: Mary Hynes (nee. Peddle) (2007).

In keeping with Wayne's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private gathering will be held for family. Interment to take place at 11:00 AM on Sunday, January 21st, 2024 at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Simms officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Wayne's memory to a charity of one's choice.
