October 21, 1960 – January 27, 2025
Dear family and friends,
As I navigate this incredibly difficult time following Warren's passing, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your love, support, and kindness have been a source of comfort and strength for me. Thank you for the calls, messages, and visits that have reminded me that I am not alone. Your presence has brought light into my darkest days, and I am truly grateful for the memories we shared with Warren. I appreciate the meals, flowers, and thoughtful gestures that have helped ease my burden. Each act of kindness has meant so much to me and has shown me the depth of love and friendship that surrounds us.
As I continue to honour Warren's memory, I find solace in knowing that he was cherished by so many. Thank you for being there for us during this time of grief. Your support has made a difference in my life, and I will always remember your kindness.
-Lisa, Mark, Loretta & families.
It is with broken hearts and the utmost sadness that we the family announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother: Warren Thomas Hann. He passed away peacefully on January 27th, 2025 at the Health Science Center, St. John's, NL, with his devoted wife of 40 years, and loving children by his side.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife: Lisa; children: Mark (April), and Loretta (Damon); his treasured grandchildren: Deidra (Devon), Keira, Landon, and Owen; his mother: Mary; brothers: Terry (Donna), and Edward; sisters: Marlene (Ken), Katie (Tony), Gloria (Kelly), and Holly (Bruce); and sisters-in-law: Valda (Roger), and Mandy (Mark); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Warren was predeceased by his father: Herbert Hann Jr.; grandson: Max Wilson; father-in-law: Winston House; and his mothers-in-law: Loretta House, and Shelley Pretty.
All who knew Warren will remember his easy smile, great sense of humour, his incredible work ethic, and his immense love for his family. Warren will forever be remembered as a true outdoorsman. No matter the activity or time of year, Warren was always outside. Cutting wood, fishing, trapping, hunting, guiding, berry picking, ATVing, snowmobiling, and operating the snow groomer were all passions he took pleasure in. "A heart that once beat in rhythm with the wild, now rests in the quiet of the earth, but the echoes of its love for nature will forever resonate in the wind, the trees, and the whispering waters."
There will be a visitation taking place on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 at the St. Paul's Anglican Church, Summerside, NL from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Monday, February 3rd, 2025 with Rev. George Critchell officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation by donating here: (https://www.heartandstroke.ca/).

Remember the best times, the laughter, the song, the good life I lived while I was strong."
