It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wanda Helen Reid announce her passing on November 26  ^th  , 2022 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in her 69  ^th  year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons: Deano (Lisa), Rodney (Denise), and Rockey; grandchildren: Brady (mother Connie), Gage, Logan (mother Jolene), and Abby (mother Denise); fur-baby: Bruin; sister: Megan Mahoney; niece: Yvonne; the father of her children: Vern Reid; and her best friends: Betty, Christine, Sonia, Patricia Roche, and Brian Boland; as well as many good friends she has met throughout the years.

Wanda is predeceased by her mother: Louisa; brother: Henry; and her companion, Bruce Collins.

There will be a visitation taking place on Monday, November 28  ^th  , 2022 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM, and Tuesday, November 29  ^th  , 2022 from 10 AM – 12 PM. The funeral service will take place in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Rev. Mickton officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Wanda's memory to the Bay of Islands SPCA (  https://www.nlwestspca.com/donate  ).

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff: Jackie Knee, Jacki Pennell, Laura Wiseman, Karen Reid, Beulah Wiseman, Rhonda Watkins, Lisa Webb, Sheila Dawe, Michelle Marks, Shauna Elford, Chris Hall, Julia Murphy, and Linda Lambert; as well the doctors who cared for our dear mother: Dr. White, Dr. Lafferty, Dr. Eaton, Dr. Dunn, Dr. Penney, and Dr. Boley. Your kindness and compassion during this difficult time will never be forgotten.
