It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter Gilbert White announce his passing on April 27 ^th , 2022 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit, at the age of 85 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Gilbert (Tracy), and Dennis; grandchildren: Victoria (Andrew) and Tracy; great-grandchildren: Carter, Layla, Karma-Mae, Keaton and Tanner; sisters: Emma Park, Alice (Llewelyn) Park, and Ellise (Kevin) Hynes; brother, William (Evelyn) White; and sister-in-law, Judy White; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.  Walter is predeceased by his companion, Sylvia Park; parents, William and Deborah White; brothers: Willy, George (Edith) White, and Charles White; sisters: Ivy, Sus (Stanley) Laing, Genevieve (Leo), Adeline (Patrick), and Lucy (Art); sister-in-law, Roseletta White; and brother-in-law, Roy Park. At Walters request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service at this time. Services and interment to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Diabetes Canada in Walter's memory.
