It is with great sadness that the family of the late Valerie Ann Harnum announce her passing on Sunday, March 12 ^th , 2023 at the Health Science Center in St. John's, NL at the age of 60 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband: Calvin; children: Tracey (Carl), Crystal (Adam), and Brittany (Mark); her step-children: Judy (Norman), and Shawn (Michelle); mother: Margaret McCarthy; her grandchildren: Julie, Devinn, Justin, Mason, Kolton, Dariya, Rhea, Claire, and Julia; her siblings: Danny (Jodie), and Tony (Kim); her nephew and nieces: Michael, Nickie, Michelle, Miranda, Danika, and Sarah; her precious fur-babies: Lola and Ryder; as well as a large circle of extended relatives, and friends.

Valerie is predeceased by her father, Daniel McCarthy.

At her request, cremation has taken place. There will be a private visitation held for immediate family at Country Haven Funeral Home with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Valerie's memory to the WMRH-Dialysis Unit.
