It is with great sadness that the family of the late Truman Maynard announce his peaceful passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on January 31, 2012 at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 61 years Marie, his children Carol (Robert Follett), Brian (Susan), his grandchildren Joanna (Colin), Michael (Keisha), Andrew (Nicole), Peter, Jane, brother Wallace, sisters and brothers-in-law Sheldon, Marlene, Seymour (Juanita), Henrietta (Benedict), also a large circle of aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and Jane, mother and father-in-law Elsie and Henry Hoddinott, brothers Elijah, Edward, sister Maggie, brothers and sisters-in-law Eliza, Emma, Maisie (George), Peter (Stella), Emma (Philip), Bessie (Peter), and Linda (Ron). Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Friday February 3, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M… Funeral service will be held at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street on Saturday February 4, 2012 at 2 P.M. with the Very Reverend Michael Rice officiating. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Food Bank Network or a charity of ones choice.
