It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Ian Gardner announce his passing at his private residence on December 29th, 2024 at the age of 73 years. Left to mourn are his daughter: Angela Gardner (Doug Pynn); grandchildren: Jared, and Destiny; son: Alex Gardner (Joni); sisters: Betty Gardner (Jack), Maureen Gough, and Heather Beales (Tony); brother: Terry Gardner (Elaine); his uncle: Ben Gardner; and his close, lifelong friends: Ken Higdon, and Tony Newman; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and other friends.

Ian is predeceased by his parents: Lloyd and Margaret "Peggy" Gardner.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service taking place at 11:30 AM on Friday, July 4th, 2025 at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Rev. Mickton officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Ian's memory to a charity of one's choice.
