It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the late Theresa Bernise Crane on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 at her home, in Irishtown, NL, at the age of 79 years.

Theresa, age 79, grew up in Brakes Cove and later settled with her husband Lud and family in Cox's Cove. She was a dedicated member of her community, a hard worker, and was recognized for her 30 years of service with the Cox's Cove Firettes just this past year.

Theresa leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Ludrick Crane (Shelia), Irene Brake (Gord), Connie Crane (Mike), and Rick Crane (Jennifer); siblings: Gloria Turner (Wade), Ethel Barnes (Curtis), George Delaney (Sharon), Leona Newman (Tim), Ron Delaney, Anne Simms (Jim), Father Joe Delaney, and Rhodena Delaney (Walter); grandchildren: Kenda Crane (Todd), Carla Crane, and Kayla Crane; great-grandchildren: Rayne House, Nathaniel Crane, Jordan Crane, Neveah Crane, Jayden Crane, Colby Pitcher, Rikki Crane, and Sidney Crane; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Theresa is predeceased by her husband, Ludrick Crane; son: Rick Crane; parents: Joe and Bertha Delaney; and siblings: Mona McCarthy, Ben Delaney, and Joe Delaney.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at the St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox's Cove, NL from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM and Friday, May 26th, 2023 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, at 11 AM, with Rev. Terry Loder officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Theresa's memory to the Cox's Cove Firettes.

Theresa will always be remembered as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandmother; a woman who loved well, and was well-loved.
