It is with great sadness that the family of the late Theodore Harry Whidden (Junior) announce his peaceful passing on January 16 ^th , 2023 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Center in his 91 ^st year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 33 years: Olive Marie; daughters: Patricia, Sharon, Lori, Shelly, and Tammy, all of Nova Scotia; stepdaughters: Marlene, Debbie, and Diane, all of Nova Scotia, as well as Joy Callahan (Tim) of Corner Brook; stepson: Joe Baker (Lindsay) of Nova Scotia; one sister: Sandra Tattrie (Bruce) of Nova Scotia; as well as 22 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 3 nephews.

Junior is predeceased by his parents: Beatrice and Harry Whidden.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of the Long-Term Care for all of their compassion shown during Junior's time of need, as well as our special friends Vicki and Michelle.

As per Junior's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Friday, January 20 ^th , 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place at 11 AM on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Junior's memory to your local S.P.C.A.
