It is with great sadness that the family of the late Teresa Caroline Power announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, September 28 ^th , 2022 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 62 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sisters; Diana (Joe), Paulette (Don), Noreen (Margaret), Elizabeth, Marilyn (Alphonso), Joan, and Mae (Calvin), all of Ontario; Rosalyn (Bob) who was also like a sister to her; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends, especially her special niece/guardian, Serina Fudge (Jason), and special niece Debbie Greene. Teresa is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Zena Power; sisters: Gertie Cobb (Chuck), Barbara (Dominic), and Pamela (Edward); her brothers: James, Robert (Frances), and baby boy William; her brother-in-law, Ralph; and Byron, who was also like a brother to Teresa.

Teresa was born with Down Syndrome and lived to be 62 years young. She truly blessed all our lives. She will be such a huge loss to us all, but we are blessed with many precious memories. Teresa has a special place in our hearts and her joy will live on as a loving inspiration to us all.

The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, and staff of 4 North-CB LTC, as well as Teresa's previous long-term caregiver, Tracy McCarthy. Flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made to the SPCA, as Teresa loved all animals, big and small.

There will be a visitation held on Sunday, October 2 ^nd , 2022 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM. The Funeral service will take place on Monday, October 3 ^rd , 2022 in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 AM with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date.
