It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stanley David Collins announce his passing on November 4th, 2025 at the age of 77 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife: Marlene (nee. Dicks); daughter: Shelley (Bong Jun); brothers-in-law: Brian Dicks, and Robert Dicks (Yvonne); sister-in-law: Eleanor Furtedo (Dwayne); his nieces and nephews and special friends: John Francis, Elizabeth Coleman, Brian Compagnon, and Paul Barry.

Stan was predeceased by his parents: Stanley Collins Sr. and Jeanette Collins (nee. Tardit); and sister-in-law: Linda.

Stan lived a remarkable life with many accomplishments in business and the Royal Canadian Air Force, but was most recently known for his widely popular X account where he featured photos of his life in Gros Morne National Park. He brought Newfoundland into homes across the world with his many photographs.

In following Stan's wishes, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Stan's memory to a charity of one's choice.
