Shawn Lloyd
Hollett
November 15, 1959 – October 2, 2023
It is with great sadness, shock, and disbelief that the family of the late Shawn Lloyd Hollett announce his untimely passing on Monday, October 2nd, 2023 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 64th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 25 years: Toby; son: Scott (Sarah); granddaughter: Madison, who was the light of his life, and center of his whole universe; brothers and sisters: Sharon, Cheryl, Michael (Kim), Paul (Lisa), Darryl (Donna), and Tracy (Joey); his special nephew: Christopher (Amelia); brothers and sisters-in-law: Ken (June), Debbie (Doris), Bob (Anna), Barb, and Sheri; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many friends.
Shawn was a lover of anything outdoors. His cabin was his happy place whether he was hunting, fishing, or picking berries in the woods with Martha. He lived for his family, especially the last two years with his special girl who he was so proud of. He devoted his life to his work at Coleman's for over 48 years and made many friends who turned into family. He will be missed by so many.
Shawn is predeceased by his parents: Charles and Doreen Hollett; grandparents: John and Edith Hollett, and Hayward and Winnifred Hilliard; parents-in-law: Ernest and Mary Dalley; and his sisters and brothers-in-law: Linda (Wes), Mary, Junior, and Brian.
There will be a visitation held on Thursday, October 5th, 2023 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Friday, October 6th, 2023 at the Salvation Army Temple with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Shawn's memory to a charity of one's choice.
The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Western Memorial Regional Hospital-3B, and the ICU, for their kindness and support shown during Shawn's time of need.
"Your life was a blessing; your memory a treasure."
