It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sharon Renee Richard announce her passing at the Western Long Term-Palliative Care Unit, on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the age of 65 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her devoted husband of 34 years: Henri Richard; son: Andre Richard; daughter: Ashley (Ben); step-father: Mike Keough; brother: Fred Strickland; step-siblings: Trudi Gill (Paul Pike), Michael Keough (Marjorie), Lori Rubia (Randell), and Julia Asae (Darin); brothers-in-law: John Jr. Rubinich (Emily Sarah), and Guy Richard (Ada); sisters-in-law: Madeline Loveless (Merlin), Michelle Richard, Janette Rubinich-Hussey (Tony), Antoniette "Toni" Plamondon; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Sharon is predeceased by her parents: Ethel and William Strickland; step-mother: Gladys Bride Keough; and brothers: Raymond, Tony,Terry and Wayne.

There will be a visitation taking place on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 19th, 2024 at 2 PM with Pastor John Murley officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Sharon's memory to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
