Samuel Joseph
Park
November 27, 1948 – September 6, 2025
It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we remember Samuel Joseph Park, who passed away peacefully on September 6th, 2025.
Sam was a man of quiet strength, a gifted story teller, and someone whose presence could light up a room with laughter. Sam spent his life close to nature, following his passion as a fisherman and living as a true outdoorsman. Whether it was setting rabbit snares or hunting moose with his brothers and best friends, Lou and Russ. Sam found joy in the land, in the woods, and the simple pleasures of life.
A man of many talents, Sam also had a surprising green thumb. He spent countless hours tending to his garden, impatiently waiting the harvest – always amazed at what he had grown. If you didn't find him outside gardening or hunting, you could have spotted him riding his quad through town, stopping often for chats with many friends he cherished, along the way. Sam always had a story, a quote, or a joke ready to share.
He leaves to mourn with love and fond memories, his special companion and lifelong friend: Jeanette; his son: Wade (Gail); stepdaughters: Renee (Scott), and Vanessa (Devin); stepsons: DJ, Bully, and Chad (Kayla); and his special kitty: Molly. He will also be missed by his brothers: Medrick (Bernice), Gerald (Nancy), Lou (Brenda), and Russ; sisters: Mary (Alec), and Susie; as well as his many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives, who will always remember him for the great man he was.
Sam was predeceased by his loving parents: Samuel and Olive Park; sisters: Hilda (Bill), and Holly (Calvin); brother: William; brother-in-law: Jim McLean; and sister-in-law: Joan Park.
In following Sam's wishes, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Instead, we honour his memory in the ways that he lived; through shared stories, laughter, time spent outdoors, and the love that we carry forward in our hearts.
Though he may be gone from our sight, he will forever stay in our hearts. His laughter, wisdom, and kindness will live on in the memories we hold and the stories that we continue to tell.
"Always remembered, forever loved."
