It is with great sadness that the family of the late Samuel "Sam" Durnford announce his passing on Tuesday, November 26th, 2024 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 59 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Angela Baldwin, and Calvin Baldwin (Shanna); grandchildren: Shawn, and Tyson; great-grandchild: Westley; brothers and sister: John, David (Sherry), and Linda (Clarence); mother-in-law: Eileen Jesso; and precious fur babies: Joshua, and Casey, who passed in 2020; as well as a large circle of other relatives, and many friends.

Sam is predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret; parents: John and Nina Durnford; and his brothers and sisters: Calvin, Rebecca, Don, Laura, and Roland.

At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Friday, November 29th, 2024 at 1 PM, from where the funeral service will take place in the Country Haven Chapel at 2 PM. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
