Samantha "Sam" Emilie Strome

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Samantha “Sam” Emilie Strome announce her sudden passing on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 at the age of only 26 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her mother: Maureen Gallant; her father: David Strome; brother: Davey Strome; and grandparents; Dave and Sharon Strome, Alban and Marie Gallant, and Gladys Miles; as well as her extended family, and many friends.

Sam was known for her beautiful spirit and generosity to others. She was appreciated by many for her outgoing, witty personality, and her infectious smile. Her bright light will shine on through the memories she made with all who knew her.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Sam’s memory to the Xavier House (19 Mount Bernard Ave. Corner Brook, NL).
