It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruth Elizabeth Stone announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 12 ^th 2022 in her 75 ^th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sisters; Stella (George), Verna (Ward), Mavis (Mike). Brothers; Eric and Hedley. Sisters-in-law; Ida, Alvina and Lorraine as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews' and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Jessie Stone. Brothers; Ralph (Lorraine), Paul, John and Lloyd. Sisters; Edna (Ellison) and Loretta (Ron). A very special thank you to the doctors and nurses from Western Memorial Regional Hospital. At Ruth's request, cremation has taken place, visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 16 ^th 2022 a 1:00 pm from where a funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm with The Very Reverent Catherine Short officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy there are no flowers by request. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetic Association.
