It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Ruby Louise Burt (nee Winsor) announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook, NL on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the age of 93 years.
Ruby faithfully attended and served at the First Pentecostal Church in Corner Brook for those 93 years.  Ruby is reunited with the love of her life, Chesley. Left to mourn are Gary (Joy Burt), Pamela (George Williams), Marlene (Rick Noble). Also, grandchildren: Patricia, Connie, Curtis, Jason, Glenda, Adam, Cynthia, Jeffery, and Gordon. Great grandchildren: Brady, Abigal, Jacob, Faith, Isaiah, Levi, Eden, Uriah, Brayden, Gracie, Malcolm, Nicholas.

Ruby loved her Lord Jesus, her family and many friends. Ruby and Chesley had a a passion for traveling in their little pickup and camper with numerous trips across Canada and much of the United States. On those trips they visited with family, friends and also made many new friends with spontaneous sing-a-longs being the norm.
With Ruby's faith in Christ being so strong, she naturally prayed for the needs of others.
Ruby was proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with her utmost desire being the salvation of each one. If Ruby could speak to you today, she would want you to understand this truth "... Now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation."
2 Corinthians 6:1.

Ruby was predeceased by her husband Chesley Gordon Burt, father Fred Winsor and mother Jessie Winsor (Gillett) in 1994, in-laws Stanley and Julie Burt and siblings Chesley (Agnes) Winsor, Jean (Howard) Ball, Judy (Rod) Crocker, Joan Cassell, and Phyllis (Fred) Dawe. Also predeceased by brother-in-law Fred Dawe. Siblings left with loving memories of their sister are Bob (Shirley) Winsor, Mildred (Jim) Blacklock, Samuel (Noella) Winsor, Verna Winsor, Elwin (Gloria) Winsor, Maxine (Brian) Foley.

Visitation will be at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, Corner Brook, NL on Monday, April 22, 2024, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

A Celebration of life service will take place at First Pentecostal Church, 54 Premier Drive, Corner Brook, NL on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 1 pm , with Pastor Larry Soper officiating. Interment to follow at Batstones Road Pentecostal Cemetery, Corner Brook, NL. The funeral will be livestreamed on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 1 pm on Facebook and YouTube. Links are below.
