We will certainly miss his humour, his wealth of knowledge, his dedication to family, and his love. He was an avid reader and could solve crossword puzzles up until the week of his death with a full explanation of the meanings when necessary. Another passion of his was astronomy, and he was often found in his backyard observatory gazing at the stars. He had a full, happy, healthy life full of love, music, and songs. We will sorely miss our video nights watching DVDs and listening to his CDs.
Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, and the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion shown during our father's time of need. He could not have been better cared for. We are also so appreciative for our home support worker, Denise Prior, who went above and beyond the call of duty with her wonderful home-cooked meals, baked bread, and genuine concern for our dad, stimulating his mind with his crossword puzzles and conversations. We will be forever grateful for you all!
