It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roy Overton Gleason announce his passing at Western Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit on April 20th at the age of 77 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters: Teena Gleason, and Tammy Langdon (Ivan); Step-Daughter Juanita Lane; Grandchildren: Devon Langdon, Danielle Langdon and Matthew Donnelly; Brothers: Wilson Gleason, Kevin Gleason, Rick Gleason, and sister: Loretta Jenkins; as well as a large circle of family and friends.  Roy is predeceased by his wife Bessie who was the love of his life. They are together again for eternity;  Roy is also predeceased by parents Myrtle and Benjamin Gleason; and brothers: Whylie and Aubrey.

The family would like to thank the staff on 3B Medicine Stroke Unit and the Palliative Care Unit for the amazing care you gave our dad. There are no words to express our gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care we all received at the Palliative Care Unit over the last few days. The staff there truly are angels.

As per Dad's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no service scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Dad's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
