It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rosetta Jean Brake announce her passing on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Western Long-Term Palliative Care Unit at the age of only 40 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband: Eric Da Silva; children: Kyle Brake, Kayla Brake, and Claira Brake; parents: Don and Debbie Brake; and brother: William Brake; and her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends that she loved dearly.

In following her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation taking place on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Country Haven Funeral Home from 1-2:30 PM, from where the funeral service will take place in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Catherine Short officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Rose's memory to your local food bank.

The family wishes to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the WMRH-ICU and Cancer Care Clinic for their kindness and compassion shown to Rose during her time of need.
