It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Claude Howell announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 60 years: Edna "Jean" Howell; his children: Jeff Howell (Christine), Darryl Howell (Ruzica), Glenn Howell (Leila), and Paula Howell (Dawe); grandchildren: Alexander, James (Christina Kanakis), Lydia  (Travis Sinclair), Keith, Erica (Tyson Fekete), Adam Howell, Jennifer Callarec (Curtis), Matthew Gagnon, Steven (Kerstin Pelley) Dawe, and Hannah Dawe; great-grandchildren: Kendra, Logan Callarec, Alfie Beaton, Alex Howell, Angela Howell, and Amanda Howell; his siblings: Dorothy Kennedy, Roy (Pauline), and Glenda Langer (John); brothers and sisters-in-law: Doris Howell, Florence Ford, Annie Thistle, Sadie Wicks, Christine Wicks; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Ronald is predeceased by his parents: Claude and Irene Howell; sister: Jean Jewer (Jim); brothers: Woodrow Howell (Eileen), and Max Howell; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth "Bet" (Max Canning), Nell Ford (George), brothers-in-law: Fred Wicks, Wilfred Wicks, and Stewart Wicks: son-in-law: Anthony (Tony) Brake; and his mother and father-in-law: John and Prudence Wicks.

There will be a visitation held at Country Haven Funeral Home on  Monday, May 29th , 2023 from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at 2 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Ronald's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
