April 25, 1964 – December 31, 2022
On behalf of the Sheppard family we wish to express our thanks and gratitude to all who attended our beloved son Father, Brother, Roger's funeral services. Your acts of kindness such as cards, messages, food and monetary donations were very much appreciated. We also wish to pass on our thanks to Mr. Dwayne Parsons and the staff of Country Haven Funeral home for their professionalism and support demonstrated during this difficult time.
To Rev. Effie Organ, for officiating at Roger's celebration of life, also for her telephone conversations made to keep in contact with us during this difficult time. Also, thanks passed on to the Paramedics, Medical professionals at ICU unit in Western Memorial Hospital.
If we have missed anyone we thank all for their kind thoughts and assistance as well.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roger Frederick Sheppard announce his sudden passing on December 31 st , 2022 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 58 th year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Carrie, and Matthew; grandchild: River; parents: Roy and Madonna; brothers: Darren (Claudine), Todd (Judy), and David (Viola); nieces and nephews: Neil, Natasha, Darren, Aimee, Ryan, Nathan, and Nolan; his good friend: Jim Kelly; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many close friends.
At Rogers' request cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Monday, January 2 nd , 2023 at St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, NL from the hours of 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 3 rd , 2023 at 11 AM with Rev. Effie Organ officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Roger's memory to a charity of one's choice.
