Rodney Dale Park

It is with great sadness that the family of Rodney Dale Park announces his peaceful passing at the Western Long-Term Palliative Care Unit, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the age of 67.

Rod leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved daughters: Paula, and Amanda (Gerry); his grandchildren, who were the light of his life: Kelsey, Abigail (Darian), Rodney (Kathryn), Brady, and Julie; his brother: Eric Park (Tibor); his special niece: Glenda Hickey, affectionately known as "Pooh"; special brother-in-law, Willis Hickey; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Rod was predeceased by his beloved wife: Elaine Park (née Vincent); his parents: Stanley and Eileen Park; and his siblings: Alice MacDonald, Murdock Park, Ralph Park, William Park, Wayne Park, Joan Hickey, and his twin brother, Ronald Park.

In keeping with Rod's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. A private celebration of life and graveside service for family will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Rod's memory may be made to the Western Long-Term Palliative Care Unit.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the WLTC-Palliative Care Unit for the kindness, compassion, and care they’ve shown to Rod and his family during his time of need. Rod will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his family and loved ones.
