It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Laing announce his passing on April 2nd, 2025 at his private residence, at the age of 65 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Jeff (Pam), and Justin; grandkids: Logan, and Myla; his siblings: Gary (Linda), Bill (Betty), Jim (Joan), Junior (Natalie), Shirley (Mick), Sue (Gary), and Karen (Rick); and his brother-in-law and best friend: Norm Gilley; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Robert is predeceased by his parents: Stanley and Susan Laing; and his sister: Deborah.

Robert was a very social person who loved playing and watching sports. He would give you the shirt off his back, and would help anyone in need. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his grandkids.

There will be a visitation taking place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10th, 2025 from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 11 AM on Friday, April 11th, 2025 in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Terry Loder officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Robert's memory to a charity of one's choice.
