It is with heavy hearts and great, great sorrow that the family of the late Robert "Robby" Bennett announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024 in Corner Brook, NL. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his beautiful little 10-year-old daughter: Jayme Jessica Bennett; his very devoted, loving mother: Carol; his father: Bob; sister: Melanie (Barry); niece: Hayley; brother: Stephen; most loving grandmother: Marion Dalley; his cousins: Joey, Jason, Stephanie, Christopher, Joanne, Karen, Andy, Kimberley, Scott, Karen, Jaime, and Erica; along with many aunts, uncles, and friends.

There will be a Private visitation for family, and family friends only, held on Monday, January 29th, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 at the Most Holy Redeemer Church, Mount Bernard Avenue, with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Robby's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Robby was a very loving father, son, grandson, brother, and friend to many. He was loved by all who knew him for his selfless, loving, and compassionate heart and personality. Robby always went above and beyond for his friends and family, and always put others before himself; even up until his final moments. Robby will be greatly missed by all.
"We love you"
"To my son, Robby. From the moment you were born, you filled my heart and my world with so much joy. Watching you grow with so many obstacles in your way; you overcame them all. You always smiled, laughed, and persevered through it all. You were always strong, knowing your limitations. It is not for me to question why, at just 39 years of age, God chose for you to leave this world; but I guess he needed you more than me. I will trust in Jesus that you are now safe, happy, healthy, and at peace. I know you are looking down on me. My heart aches, but knowing you are in the arms of Jesus consoles me greatly. My worries are no more. I love you more than life, beyond measure, so, so much. Love and miss you terribly. Until I see those beautiful blue eyes, and smiling face again. -Love, Mom. (Carol Bennett)"
