It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ricky Raymond King announce his passing on January 7th, 2025 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit after a battling a lengthy illness, at the age of only 39 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his parents: Elvis and Joan Park; brothers: Les (Nicci), Greg (Tanya), Brian (Nichole), Jonathan (Jayde), Ash, Jason (Ashley), and Kyle (Kiera); sisters: Krista (Jeremy), Cynthia (Curtis), Keisha (Brad), Jennifer (Blair), and Renee; his very special family friends: Chantal, Roddy, Candice, Joey, and Laura; aunts and uncles: Olive, Jenny, and Judy (Carter), Vic (Sadie), and Jamie (Ruby); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends, especially his dart buddies.

Ricky is predeceased by his biological parents: Vanda King, and Ricky Brake; and his uncles: Bob and Harvey Brake.

There will be a visitation taking place for family and friends on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral service will take place at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 10th, 2025 in the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Mickton officiating. Cremation to follow. A private family interment service will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Ricky's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
