Richard John Broderick, 56 yrs old, passed peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, December 18 2020 at Palliative Care in Corner Brook NL. He is survived by his devoted and loving mom, Ruth Broderick, his brothers: Blair Broderick (wife Doris), Christopher Broderick (Sonya Hiscock), sister; Kimberly Sheppard (husband KIrk) & special buddy Howard Callahan. He is predeceased by his dad, Bill Broderick, his biological father, Johnny Diamond, grandparents: John & Harriet Rose Howell, William & Mary Broderick, & Clayton & Bessie Diamond. Rick was an avid pool player in his day and loved to travel from Newfoundland to Ontario. He did so for several years. He was a good soul & loved everyone. He will be deeply missed by all his family, friends, & those who took such good care of him over the years. From the bottom of our hearts, the family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all staff from the Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook for taking such good care of Rick during his time of illness.  Your kindness did not go unnoticed. A private family viewing will take place Sunday, December 20, 2020. Inurnment will take place following service Tuesday, December 22, 2020.
