It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Joseph Costard announce his peaceful passing at Western Long Term, Palliative Care Unit, on Sunday, October 24th, 2021 at 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children, Lisa Dean (Fred), Raymond Costard Jr (Ramie) (Terri Preston), Richard (Ricky) Costard (Tammy) and Lori Hunt. Grandchildren, Tracey, Patricia, Heidi, Christa, Chantil and Dawson. Seven great-grandchildren. A special thank you to a family friend, Linda Strickland for the wonderful things she did; Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Raymond was predeceased by his wonderful, loving companion of 41 years, Doreen Hunt. A visitation is scheduled to take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, on Monday, October 25th, 2021, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM; Interment service to follow at Mount Patricia at 2:00 PM, with Majors Brian and Valerie Wheeler officiating. Flowers are graciously accepted or a memorial donation can be made to Western Long Term, Palliative Care Unit.
