It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Alphonsus Burton announce his passing on Friday, March 14th, 2025 at the Western Long-Term Palliative Care Unit at the age of 62 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife: Rose Burton; his brothers: Gary (Hilda), Martin (Irene), Darrell (Rebecca), John (Marion), and Paul; sisters-in-law: Mary, Priscilla, Madeline, and Ann; and his brothers-in-law: Frankie, Austin, Johnny, Peter, Leo, Leonard, and Danny; as well as a large circle of other relatives, and many friends.

Ray was predeceased by his parents: Abraham and Madeline Burton; brother and sister: David Burton, and Dianne Burton; and his brothers-in-law: Harold Campbell, and Jimmy Campbell.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation starting at 1 PM on Monday, March 17th, 2025 at Country Haven Funeral Home, from where the funeral service will take place at 2 PM in the Country Haven Chapel with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. If one wishes to offer an expression of sympathy, a donation to Ray's family would be greatly appreciated.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Western Long-Term Palliative Care Unit for their excellent care and support shown to Ray and his family during this very difficult time.
