It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Christopher Kennedy of Corner Brook, NL, who passed away peacefully on November 26th, 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in his 89th year. He is mourned by his family and friends. He died with his very close friend/companion, Isabelle Tobin, of Port aux Port, NL by his bedside, who loved and cared for him in the final years of his life. He has been cremated and his ashes are to be buried with his predeceased wife, Rose Mabel Kennedy (nee. Pike), at the Anglican Cemetery in Winter Brook, Bonavista Bay, NL. He is survived by his two sons: Dr. Michael Kennedy, and Shawn Kennedy and his family. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Peter's memory.
