Marchand
August 17, 1958 – April 5, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Pauline Marchand (nee Targett) announce her passing on April 5, 2025 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit at the age of 66 years after a very short battle with cancer. Pauline was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her two children; Randy Hann (Sheila) and Janice Rose Dolland (Chance). Her three grandchildren, who were the light of her life and who she was so proud of; Ethan, Taliyah and Jaxen. Her sister; Rosemary (Stan) and her brothers; Tommy (Bev), Jim, and Rodney (Cindy). Her dear friend Shirley Stamper as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, one great, great niece, cousins and many friends. Pauline is predeceased by her husband; Paul (six months ago), her parents; Tom and Rose Targett and her sister; Kim Targett.
Pauline was a woman whose heart overflowed with unconditional love and kindness for her family and friends. Special thanks to the palliative care unit for the care received during her stay and special thanks to Dr. Lafferty and all the other doctors, nurses and staff who gave mom special care during her stay.
As per Pauline's wish, cremation has taken place. There will be a public visitation on Tuesday April 8th 2025 from the hours of 7-9PM at Country Haven Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday April 9th at 2PM with Rev. Canon Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Columbarium Garden. No flowers by request, in leiu of flowers, a donation can be made to the family.
