April 9, 1946 – January 10, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Paul LeDrew announce his passing at Western Long Term – Palliative Care Unit, on Monday, January 10 th , 2022 at the age of 75 years.
Paul grew up in Corner Brook and was involved in all sports, including: baseball, softball, golf, curling, bowling, darts, etc. He was also a great volunteer in the community, through the Lion's Club and VON. Most of all, Paul's greatest love was that of his family and friends. Paul was well known around town for his great sense of humor.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Joan; Mother of his children and friend: Angela LeDrew; Children: Joanne Jones (Shandon), Denise Rogers (Jerry) and Jennifer Ereaut; Step-children, Jo-anne Goodyear (Gerald), Glynis Rogers (Scot), Bernetta Hollett (Billy) and John Hollett; Paul's pride and joy, his grandchildren: Bailey, Love, Thane, Dustin, Justin, Kyle, Andrew, Keersten and David; Siblings: Bill (Edith), Gerry (Nita), Leonard (Elaine) and Grace (Rufus Drake); Sisters-in-law: Olive Antle (Ray), Gladys Osmond (Tony), Olive LeDrew and Shirley LeDrew; Close friend, who was also like a brother to him, Rendel Foote (Sharon); As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Paul was predeceased by his parents: Rexford (Tony) & Helen LeDrew; Brother's: Gus, John, Michael and Joe LeDrew.
As per Paul's request, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 19 th , 2022, at 2:00 PM, from where a funeral service will take place at 3:00 PM, with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted. A donation in Paul's memory may be made to the SPCA or to a charity of one's choice.
