It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patrick William O'Connell announce his passing on Saturday, April 22 ^nd , 2023 at the Corner Brook Palliative Unit in his 75 ^th year. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife of 47 years: Rosella O'Connell (nee. Hickey); his children: David (Julie), and Allen (Nancy); grandchildren: Kyle, and Kristen; sister: Sheila; brothers: Tom (Elizabeth), and Joe (Mary); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Pat is predeceased by his parents, his siblings, and many relatives.

At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, April 25 ^th , 2023 from the hours of 2-4 PM, and 7-8 PM, with the service taking place in the Country Haven Chapel at 8 PM with Father Terry officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Pat's memory to the Our Lady Star of the Sea church fund.
