The family of the late Patrick "Pat" Callahan would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has surrounded us with love and support during this challenging time. Thank you all for the heartfelt messages, cards, food, flowers, and generous donations made to the Daffodil Place in Pat's memory. We are deeply grateful to each and every one of you who attended the visitations and funeral, celebrating Pat's life with us. The outpouring of love and support has been truly remarkable, and it warms our hearts to see the profound impact Pat had on his family, friends, and community. We extend our sincerest thanks to his two nurses at Palliative Care, Vicki Caines and Stephanie, for providing Pat with compassionate care, dignity, and respect during his final moments. Thank you to Major Brian and Valerie Wheeler for delivering a beautiful service. Our sincerest thanks to Dwayne and the staff at County Haven Funeral Home for ensuring Pat's final wishes were honored with love and care. Our family is forever grateful for your kindness, compassion, and support as we navigated the loss of an extraordinary man.

It's with very heavy hearts that the family of the late Patrick Callahan (Pat) announced his peaceful passing surrounded by his family at the Palliative care unit in Corner Brook, NL on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the age of 62 years.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Lisa of 41 years. Children; Melissa and Son Justin (Jennifer). Four Grandchildren whom he loved and adored so much; Ryan, Destiny, Mason and Jake. Mother; Clara Callahan. Brothers; Jimmy (Vivian), Mark and Billy. Sisters; Debbie (Bill), Barbra (Robert), Donna (Keith), Laura (Doug) and Judy. Sister-in-law; Claudine (Brian). Brothers-in-law; Tony, Kal, Jody, Darren (Tammy) and Dan. His childhood best friend Wade King (Bonnie). Special Niece and Nephew Tracy and Robert.
Pat worked 30 years with NLESD meeting many people along that time that made a impact on his life.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Sohaib Al-Asaaed who took good care of Pat for 8 years. Dr. Johnathan Greenland his Radiologist. Dr. Robert O'Driscoll his family Doctor and friend. All the staff at the Chemo Unit in Corner Brook, all your support through the last 8 years hasn't gone unnoticed.
Pat is predeceased by his father Clarence (Midge) Callahan. Mother-in-law; Valma Antle. Father-in-law; Robert Antle. Brother; Clarence Callahan. Sisters-in-law; Kathy and Bernita Callahan. Brother-in-law; George (Bub) Gillam.
Visitations will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Monday (September 22) and Tuesday (September 23) from the hours of 2-4 pm to 7-9 pm from where a Funeral Service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 24 2025 at 2:00 pm with Major Brian Wheeler officiating with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Daffodil Place.
