It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ona Virginia Wheeler announce her passing at the Western Long Term Care (Palliative) on Thursday, August 26th 2021 at the age of 96 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Kevin (Pat), Rallas, Calvin, Goldie, Yvonne (Bern), Richard (Geraldine) and Kay (Tony). Her Grandchildren Lori, Jim, Steve, Tony, Shawn, Tim, Adam, Trevor, Rebecca, Chad, David, Darren, Beverly, Luella, Julie, John, Jason, Joanne, Jason and Paul. Her Stepsisters Laverne Byrne, Doreen Payne (Frank) and Myra as well as a large circle of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Murdock Wheeler. Her parents Augustus and Elizabeth Ruth. Children Clifford, Velnia, Noble, Jacqueline (Archie) and Lloyd. Granddaughter Patrina. Daughter-in-law Joan and Step-sister Beulah. Visitation will take place on Friday, August 27th from the hours of 2-4, 7-9 pm at Anglican Church Summerside with a funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at 11 am with Rev Kay Osmond officiating. Interment to follow at Summerside Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers and memorial donation to one's choice.
