It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norma Jacqueline Matthews announce her passing at the Lanes Retirement Living – Irishtown-Summerside (Bayshore) on Thursday, December 9 ^th, 2021 at the age of 65 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Sarah and Chris (Robin). Grandchildren; Logan and Amelia, and the father of her children Terry. Siblings; Karen (Bob), Susan (Joe), Al (Mary Beth), Janet, Betty (Lew), Helga, Hellen (Terry), Val (Brian), Robert (Cheryl), Jerry (Allyson), Marie, Brenda (Kevin) and Marg (Snowden). As well as a large number of nieces and nephews and close friends. Norma was predeceased by her parents Frances and Stanley Sparkes and brother Ronald. The family would like to give a big thank you to Dr. Smallwood and his staff and the Bayshore Estates Staff and residents for their care and friendship over the years. Per Norma's wishes, visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Friday, December 10 ^th from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with funeral service to take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 11 ^th, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Vax Pass and I.D will be required for both. Cremation to follow and interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one's choice.
